Teacher's day !
Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me. — APJ Abdul Kalam, former Indian President.
Firstly, a very happy teacher's day wishes to all my teachers who have stood by me and helped me to grow as a person !
MATHA - PITHA - GURU - DHEIVAM
A teacher is being kept before god and this shows the purity of the profession .
A teacher can have an immense effect on students' career - both positive and negative !
Who is a good teacher ?
1. The primary character of a good teacher is that he/she should be friendly with students and should not show dictatorship.
Students tend to like the subject when they like the subject teacher
2.A good teacher should know the mindset of students and teach accordingly.
Students would feel sleepy after a lunch session and a good teacher should first try to impart energy to the class before going to the subject.
3. A good teacher should take in ideas given by the students and should accept when he/she makes any mistakes in class.
Most of the teachers control the class and focus only on completing their portions .
Many of the teachers fail to do these and eventually students lose interest in the subject which affects their performance.
While on the other side, even if a teacher isn't strong with the subject , if he/she has got the support of students , the students will give a better performance as the interest for the subject matters a lot !
