Kallanai Dam-One of the oldest yet functional Dam!

Kallanai dam is said to be an ancient dam built by the Chozha King Karikalan across the famous south Indian river Kaveri. It's situated 15km from Trichy and visiting this place during rainy season is more preferable! :D

And hey, if you have brought small children with you, they can spend their time playing in the nearby park! :P

Rockfort Temple-7th century temple!

Rockfort is said to be one of the oldest temples and it is constructed on a 272 high feet rock! :O After you are done with climbing 417 steps, you can get to view the amazing view of the whole city! <3

Srirangam Temple

The first and foremost temple among the 108 main Vishnu temples! Architecture students can benefit visiting this temple as it has got great architectural values apart from religious values

Anna science centre- A planetarium!

It's a must visit for science lovers while you visit Trichy and it's near Airport so it won't be a trouble if you are traveling by air!

St Joseph college

It's one of the oldest and reputed colleges where famous personalities like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, writer Sujatha etc have completed their graduation! 

St Lourde's Church

Believe me, this church is not located in London but it's just next to St Joseph college in Trichy!

Ibrahim Park-Romantic spot :P

This park is located near Lourdes church and this happens to be one of the few romantic spots for Trichy couples :P Movies taken in Trichy never miss out this location for shooting!

Puliyancholai falls

Situated exactly 70km from Trichy, it provides an eye warming scenery for nature lovers! :D
